Luigi is considered to be one of the most creative professionals in his birth country, Brazil. Besides his 20+ experience as a Film Director, he is also an Art Director [for film and print], Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, Colour Grading Artist, DOP, and an award-winning Illustrator and Photographer with a captivating story-telling style and an eye for fashion. After a successful career as an illustrator, working for several Brazilian newspapers, music journals, and comic magazines, Luigi shifted to advertising in the early 2000s, commencing as Art Director and Head of Cinema at [DM9] DDB Brazil, winning many prestigious awards, from Clio to Cannes Lions. Subsequently, he spent a brief period at FCB Brazil, as Head of Art, before moving on solely as Film Director and Photographer. Since then, Luigi has founded two distinct production houses, photographed for several Brazilian travel magazines, and has filmed for many distinguished clients such as Pepsi Co, Procter & Gamble, Land Rover, Johnson&Johnson, Hyundai, Anheuser-Busch AmBev, Samsung and many more.
Luigi is now living and working in Melbourne, Australia.
